OUR STORY

Opt International was established in 2005. We acted as a purchasing agent of Wo Sang Metal Shop Co. Ltd, a family business with an over 60 year long history, for the first eight years.

Thanks for the strong support of Wo Sang Metal and rapid developments of China, Opt International developed solid and constant source of non-ferrous metal scraps in just a few years time. Meanwhile, we acquired good understanding of the quality requirements and business style in South China metal scraps market.

With the encouragement of Mr. Wing Chung Poon, President of Wo Sang Metal, Mr. Sherman Au, Director of Opt International Limited, has been starting metals scraps trading since 2013. However, he focused on Asian countries instead of just Mainland China. After few years of exploring and risk taking, our customer base reaches China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Russia etc.. Opt International is a young and vibrant company, we are not only eager to expand our market region but also our item range. Other than non-ferrous metal scraps, we have been starting new items like, High Ni alloys, minor metals, and rare metals.
